New Years

Long overdue.  I know.

We have a tradition.  I love this tradition.  Every year for New Year's we spend a couple days with Megan & Tony and now Miss Lila just hanging out and celebrating another year.  It is so much fun.  We always make pizza bread and we eat lots of SNNAAAAKKKKSSSS - any appetizer - wings, mozz sticks, tacitos - whatever junk we find at the store.  We just chill out and enjoy getting to see each other.  Us girls are usually barely awake by midnight.  We alternate whose house we go to.  I look forward to it every year...that calm after a hectic season with some of my best friends.  (have I ever mentioned that it is awesome when your high school friend, later roommate, ends up being your sister-in-law)

So anyway, this year we were in at Meg and Tony's this year for the celebration.  We worked on adding another tradition to your pizza bread and appetizer eating ways.  This year we worked on a scrap book page or two to document the past years and our New Years Celebration.

We also had some nice surprises in that Ray, Emilie, and baby Quinn were still in town for Christmas.  They currently call the Washington D.C. area home so we don't get to see them very often and certainly hadn't met Quinn!  We certainly enjoyed getting to hang out with them on Sunday.  We also had an impromtu visit from Jeremy and his new wife (one of Dennis and Tony's friends from their high school days).  He has been overseas in the military for many years and is currently stationed in Arizona so it was very good to see him again.

As always our visit was too short and miss them like crazy.
